Donor 1957

Grounded and naturally empathetic with a thoughtful and quietly humorous presence. They’re a keen traveller with a love for languages, including being almost fluent in British Sign Language. Their free time is filled with non-fiction reading, vegetarian cooking, and people-watching.

This donor works in education policy, specialising in safeguarding children. With a Master’s in Education and a PhD underway, their life is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and a genuine desire to make a difference. Their empathy and attentiveness shine through in every aspect of their life, whether they’re supporting families through their work, volunteering, or creating a calm, welcoming home shared with their rescue cat. Donating felt like a natural extension of their values — a choice made with care and purpose, guided by their belief in helping others build the loving families they’ve seen transform the lives of those closest to them.

"It was a choice made with a lot of thought and care – knowing that you exist and reading this letter is an incredible testament to that decision."
