About Us

Welcome to London Sperm Bank (LSB) – the UK’s leading provider of donor sperm, dedicated to helping people build their families. Since 2010, we have proudly helped bring over 3,000 babies into the world, providing high-quality, ethically sourced sperm to clinics and recipients across the country.

We are committed to safety, transparency, and ethical standards, ensuring that every donor meets strict UK regulations and that every sample is fully traceable.

Person Responsible & Managing Director

Dr Kamal Ahuja

Dr Kamal Ahuja is scientific and managing director of the London Sperm Bank. Dr Ahuja has been at the helm of the LSB since its opening in 2010, from when it has become the UK’s leading sperm bank with nearly 2000 men registered to donate sperm and leading to the creation of thousands of families.

Behind this remarkable progress lies Dr Ahuja’s aim to provide safe UK-sourced sperm which is readily traceable, accessible and available, both to individual patients and to other registered clinics in the UK. LWC has supported several significant changes to the legislation covering sperm (and egg) donation in the UK, notably the removal of donor anonymity and the extension of storage times for frozen sperm and eggs. Throughout his career Dr Ahuja has emphasised the role of altruism in third-party reproductive medicine and championed affordability and consumer choice for patients.
